On December 22, 2011 the official results of “Terravino 2011” Mediterranean International Wine Challenge, the only International wine and spirits competition organized in Israel were announced on the gala dinner in Jerusalem where Georgian brands were awarded with one double Gold, nine Gold, six Silver and three special prizes. With the number of awards Georgia is on the third place among thirty participant countries.

For two days Tbilisi has become a single meeting point for more than 80 international traders, wine experts, Asian Media and representatives of 55 Georgian companies as through November 25-26 the city hosted Trade With Georgia 2011 – Beverages Tradeshow and B2B Forum, a major event dedicated to the promotion of Georgian alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The event was organized by Georgian National Investment Agency under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia with the main goal of promoting the export potential of the Georgian beverage products and enabling companies establish contacts overseas.

From November 17-18, 2011 Batumi Radisson hosted the 9th Intergovernmental Commission Meeting for Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Republic of Armenia. The commission meeting was chaired by the prime ministers of the both countries, Nika Gilauri and Tigran Sargsyan. After the meeting, the Prime Minister of Georgia pointed out that Armenia is one of the main partners of Georgia."Trade turnover between us has grown by 40%. Greatest number of tourists arrives from Armenia to Georgia. We have a very good political relations and very important economic relations. At the meeting we have talked about several energy projects, transit perspectives, transport," pointed out Nika Gilauri.
