Reconstruction of Sport Palace

Logic Group Ltd was founded in Georgia, Tbilisi and 100% of its shares belong to founders, Georgian part.

In 2007, company took participation in tender which was held by municipality of Tbilisi. The mission of the tender was - the reconstruction of Sport Palace which has built in 1961 according to the Soviet Union standards.

During years Sport Palace was main building for Sport affairs: Basketball, Volleyball, Handball matches, Boxing and other different types of Olympic games.

But this is the history without ventilation and heating, auding and scoring systems. The building was actually not useful for international matches and other activities.

Company "Logic Group LTD" won the tender and became the owner and manager of Sport Palace with 100% shares for 30 years according the contract which was signed with the municipality of the Tbilisi.

"Logic Group Ltd" invested 2 million US Dollars for the first stage of renovation. Total amount of investment covers 5 million USD Dollars.

First stage is already finished and fallowing positions was done: sewerage and plumbing systems, Heating and Ventilation, electrical power system with modern auding systems. Everything was done strictly according to the FIBA (International Basketball Federation) standards.

New Floor dimensions with maple finishing is certified by FIBA and it gives the opportunity to carry out international basketball matches.

The part of sitting places was changed into modern and individual chairs which are very comfortable. Whole area of building is equipped with special plain, non-slipping flooring material.

The scoreboard and baskets which are equipped with sensor devices and timer are certified by FIBA as well.

Renovation covered the whole facade of the building with its glassing and stone finishing. Interior was designed according to the new demands and every WC, shower boxes and cloak-rooms were carried out step by step to the international standards.

Logic Group' hopes that Sport Palace will surprise pleasantly its spectaculars no matter of their reason to come there.

Meanwhile all of these changes will give perfect chance to everybody to carry out in Sport Palace a lot of projects among the sport affairs. As Sport palace is the only roofed building which has possibility to receive and serve with all modern comforts 9000 spectator for sport events and 11000 spectators for concerts.

Modern auding system and other useful facilities give opportunity to organize concerts of singers and art performances, different kinds of international and local competitions and other activities.
