JSC “Akhaltsikhe”
JSC Company Industrial – Commercial Firm “Akhaltsikhe” is founded on July 29 of 1998 ion the base of Akhaltsikhe former meat-packing plant. Over a period of the last 3-4 years the plant produces meat products (sausage, sausage rolls). There are 15 employees working there and staff has 20-25 year practical work experience in the field of production, processing and realization of agriculture products.
The shareholder of JSC Company Industrial – Commercial Firm “Akhaltsikhe” is citizen of Israel Shilgit Khaya through direct assistance and help of which there have been carried out reconstruction works.
In 2007-2008 the plant reconstruction and re-equipment was started up and still running. With the purpose of enhancement of the production level achieved it is necessary to purchase and install meat processing facilities. From the first half of 2009 there will start purchase of cattle (livestock, small and pigs) from the region farmers and population, cattle processing, packing and realization, expanding of the existing markets and finding new ones for high-quality, competitive products realization, which will entail new job opportunities and additionally employ 50-55 men. At the first stage of the project (first half of 2009) 70 men will be employed in all and on implementing of the whole scope of the project the amount of the employed will be doubled and their number will make up 150 people.
To perform the works of the first stage of the project implementation 450 000 GEL is necessary from which 300 000 GEL will be necessary to receive financial assistance for 3 years. This amount will be directed at indemnification of the cost of purchase, installation and putting in operation of the equipment by the Austrian Company “Motimex Georgia LTD”. 150 000 GEL of the project cost on a shared basis will be used out of the equity of the plant by means of which there will be carried out cattle purchase and reimbursement of processing costs and other cost (manpower, electricity and other costs related to production).
From 2012 the projects provides installation of facilities and equipment for milk receiving and purchase of milk from farmers, packing and release of ecological product for realization. At the same time we provide for receiving of fruits and vegetables from the region districts (Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza, Borjomi), their processing, packing and realization.
