20th Annual Crans Montana ForumOn June 24-27, 2009 the Annual Crans Montana Forum took place in Brussels, Belgium with the focus on the international role of the European Union and its strategies toward the East, Africa and the Arab World.
The Crans Montana forum on its 20th Anniversary once more gathered Heads of States and Governments, Ministers, European Commissioners, Members of the European Parliament, Speakers of National Parliaments, High Officials from International and Regional Organizations, Academics to discuss the issues of mutual and global interests.
The Georgian National Investment Agency attended the Forum for the first time to present Georgia’s investment climate and opportunities. The dedicated table with hostess for the distribution of documents promoting the Georgian investment opportunities was organized in the main hall Forum venue. Advertisement page of the Georgian National Investment Agency was published in the official Forum brochure which was distributed to all participants on the occasion of the Crans Montana Forum 20th anniversary.
Director of the Georgian National Investment Agency Ms. Nino Baratashvili attended the Forum sessions, as well as held meetings with the delegates of participant countries.
The forum was attended by the governmental representatives. The Georgian Delegation was represented by the Vice Prime Minister, State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Mr. Giorgi Baramidze, Vice Prime Minister, the Minister for the Reintegration Issues Mr. Temur Iakobashvili and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Georgia Mr. Irakli Gachechiladze. |
