Lasha Zhvania opened Swedish-Georgian Business forum

On March 31 Minister of Economic Development Lasha Zhvania opened Swedish-Georgian forum at hotel “Courtyard Marriott.” Minister introduced the participants of the forum business environment and economic situation existed in the country. According to Lasha Zhvania Sweden is one of the advanced countries and friend of Georgia. “Sweden has the great interest for carrying out investments specifically in the field of energy, telecomunications, rural economy, transport and construction and I have a hope that partnership between two countries will be developed in multilateral directions. It will be one more step for attracting investments in the country”-announced Lasha Zhvania.

Delegation of Sweden businessmen is led by State Secretary in foreign trade issues Mr. Gunnar Weislander. Among the guests are the representatives of such famous Swedish companies as “Ericsson” “ITT Water&Wastewater”  “Saab International” “TeliaSonera” and etc. Visit of Swedish businessmen in the companies“TeliaSonera” and Rakeen Development” is planned in the frame of the visit. The guests will also visit complex of “Uptown Tbilisi”. 

Swedish delegation will leave for Tbilisi on April 1.
