Georgia Exported 21 537 Bottles to 8 States in Q1 2008



In Q1 2008, Georgian Chacha (vodka made of grape husks) was exported to 8 states.The country has exported 21 537 0.5-litre bottles in the first six months of 2008.

 
 
Ukraine is the leading export market with 17 431 bottles exported to the country.  Latvia is the next with 1 896 bottles exported, while Belgium third with 960 bottles.  Tajikistan is next with 329 bottles, the US - 300 bottles, Holland - 240 bottles, Kazakhstan - 200 bottles, while France - 180 bottles.
Wide scale reforms were quickly implemented in Georgia, the investments have doubled over the last three years.
