Georgia becomes attractive for the tourists



 
According to The Travel and Tourism Competiveness Index published by the World Economic Forum, Georgia took 72nd place among 130 countries (by 3, 83 rate). The World Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index is computed based on the following sub-indexes:
 
  • Adjustment of travel and tourism sphere.
  • Business environment and infrastructure of the travel and tourism sphere.
  • Human, cultural and natural resources in the travel and tourism sphere.
 
The Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index reports that Azerbaijan places 79th among 130 countries (by 3,72 rate) and lags behind Georgia by 7 places. Armenia was placed 89th  of 130 countries, (by 3,63 rate) 17 places behind Georgia.
As matter of fact, Georgia outdistanced Ukraine, (77th place with 3,56 rate), Moldova and many other countries.
In The Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index, published by the World Economic Forum, 1st place (5,63 rate) was awarded to  Switzerland,  and last place (with 2,48 rate) was awarded Chad, which was considered the least competitive country.
 
Georgia made the most extensive reforms, ranking as the top reformer for the second year in a row. ... It is now as easy to comply with building regulations in Tbilisi as it is in Hong Kong.
