On June 25, Tel Aviv hosted an Israel-Georgia Business Forum organized by the Georgian National Investment Agency Georgian Embassy in Israel and the Israeli Export and International Cooperation Institute.
The Business Forum was opened by the Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili. Georgian Ministers of Economy and Agriculture also took part in the forum. The presentation of the energy sector of Georgia was held by the Deputy Energy Minister.
The forum was attended by about 80 Israeli and 25 Georgian businessmen. Israeli companies represented sectors such as agriculture, industry, real estate and energy. They were informed about the investment climate in Georgia and opportunities of doing business in Georgia.
The format of the event also encompassed bilateral business meetings which will help in establishing and expanding new business relations between Georgian and Israeli companies.
